Meet Stefanie – Founder & Master Colorist
With over 24 years of professional experience, Stefanie is a nationally trained color specialist and extension artist who has transformed the hair of clients from across Indiana, Michigan, and beyond. Her passion for modern color theory, precision placement, and hair health has positioned her as a leader in luxury hair services—particularly in blonde transformations and beaded row extensions.
Stefanie’s expertise is backed by extensive advanced education from the nation’s top academies, including multiple certifications from the L’Oréal Professionnel Academy in Soho, New York, where she refined her balayage, formulation, and dimensional blonding techniques. She has also completed elite programs with Goldwell, Alfaparf, Paul Mitchell in Las Vegas, and the Studio She Academy in Maryland, earning access to the highest-quality ethically sourced human hair in the world.
A Foundation Built on Excellence
Before opening Sailage Salon & Esthetics, Stefanie completed one of the most extensive and elite apprenticeship programs in the region under a Vidal Sassoon and José Eber trained mentor. She spent the next 14 years as a senior stylist and color educator at a nationally recognized education-based salon, where she trained professionals nationwide and refined her expertise in corrective color, precision formulation, and advanced blonding techniques. During this time, she began building the technical foundation that would later lead to her signature method in luxury beaded row hair extensions.
